Feature 04 · Marketplace

Your rewards, your prices.

Kids swap their coins for rewards you choose. Time together never costs anything, rewards are the extra on top.

Who picks the film?

The situation

Friday is film night at the Evans', for everyone and without coins. The only argument is about who picks the film.

How it works with Choreaction

  1. Sarah puts “Pick Friday's film” in the marketplace, for 60 coins, once a week.
  2. Isla redeems it as soon as she has enough coins. Sarah sees it in her inbox.
  3. On Friday, Sarah ticks the reward off as done.

Film night still belongs to everyone. The fight over the remote has turned into an agreement.

The Taylor family · two homes Amelia (8) and Dad

Skateboard wheels at Dad's.

The situation

Amelia is saving for new wheels for her skateboard. The board lives at Dad's on Harbour Street, and she earns coins in both homes.

How it works with Choreaction

  1. Dad adds the wheels to the marketplace for 400 coins and ties them to his home. After all, he's the one handing them over.
  2. Amelia pins them as her savings goal. Her home screen says: “185 coins to go”.
  3. When Dad sets the price, the app puts it in perspective, for example “≈ 3 weeks”.

Amelia sees the wheels getting closer every day, whoever she's staying with.

ADHD-friendly

Why it helps with ADHD

  • A goal you can see: a pinned savings goal makes something far away feel within reach every day.
  • Their own decision: kids redeem on their own, without asking. That builds independence.
  • Clear agreements: what's in the marketplace stands. Less haggling in the moment.

And for everyone else? Saving is more fun for every child when the goal gets a little closer every day.

In detail

  • You create them: film night, ice cream, 30 minutes on the console. The marketplace only shows what you put in.
  • They redeem them: kids redeem on their own. You see it in your inbox and tick it off once it's done.
  • Wish list and savings goal: kids wish for something, you set the price. A pinned goal shows “120 coins to go”.
  • Prices with a feel for it: the app estimates how long a child will save, for example “Cinema ≈ 3 weeks”.
  • No real money: coins are your family currency. No products, no ads.
